Dear patients and families of Three Village Orthodontics,
On Monday afternoon the American Dental Association (ADA) recommended that dentists nationwide postpone elective procedures for the next three weeks. Orthodontic appointments are elective in nature, and as of Tuesday March 17th we will be complying with these recommendations in an effort to help keep our patients, staff, and community at large as safe as possible. We will answer phone calls and any questions during normal office hours at (631) 689-3131. As always, I will be available for emergencies as needed.
- Wires poking and causing pain
- Broken braces that are making eating difficult or painful
- Loose palatal expander
I would like to emphasize that we are taking COVID-19 seriously and we will do our part, however small, to stop it’s spread while maintaining our responsibilities to our patients. We will be further communicating with patients and families based on their individual needs and treatment status to help guide them through this challenging time. Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram for additional general tips and important office updates during the hiatus. I also want to ask that you please bear with us, we are dealing with an unprecedented event and constantly changing, often conflicting recommendations from the CDC, ADA, American Association of Orthodontists, and other governing bodies. We will need to make adjustments as time goes on. We are staying positive, looking forward to all of this being over, and wishing all of you and your families the best!
